Changelog compared to previous open beta:

  • Chapter 2The first island from Chapter 2 has been added to the game! Explore the frozen world of Heat Death even further.
  • New Structural Modules: You can now build half-height walls and windows. This allows you to design more unique layouts and make much better use of your train's interior space.

  • Suit ModsYou can now upgrade your suit by installing various modules. One of the most important new additions is the Body Heater, which uses your suit's power to keep you warm in extreme conditions.
  • Furniture ModulesWe've added a brand-new "Furniture" module category! You can now craft decorative items to customize your train and create a cozy home inside your mobile base.
  • Wind TurbineThis new module converts wind into power, making it incredibly useful during storms when wind speeds peak. Additionally, because the star is at a sharper angle in Chapter 2's region, solar panels are less effective here, making it the perfect time to switch some over to wind power!
  • Journal picturesWe’ve added pictures to the journal. This should help you to understand the lore and story better.
  • Storm Variations: We have introduced three new storm types to replace the old single-storm system:

    • Light Snow: A milder, less harsh weather event.

    • Storm: On par with the intensity of the original storm.

    • Radioactive Storm: The title says it all—extreme caution is advised whenever this one hits!

  • German LocalizationWe’ve added German language support! Please note that there might be translation or text display issues. If you speak German, please let us know if you spot any mistakes.
  • Other Bug Fixes and Tweaks

New Demo Open Beta is here!

If you don't have the full version of the game, you can try the new Demo (Open Beta)!

Cangelog compared to public demo:

  • New PrologueExperience a brand-new prologue where you can control a fully built train! This section marks the beginning of our complete story overhaul, which we will continue in upcoming updates. Please note: You must start a new game to experience this new content.
  • New Stackable Chests: You can now stack chests on top of each other! To help with organization, the chest body now displays the first item inside, making it easier to manage your inventory.

  • New Colored Train Lights: You can now change the color of your train lights, allowing for even deeper customization of your train!

  • The All-New JournalWe've introduced a brand-new Journal system, which completely replaces the old "Data Logs" tab right next to your inventory.
  • Environmental OverhaulsYou will notice many environmental changes reflecting the lore, including new faction logos, some buildings being redesigned, and more.
  • German LocalizationWe’ve added German language support! Please note that there might be translation or text display issues. If you speak German, please let us know if you spot any mistakes.
  • Graphical Improvements: We've made improvements to the game's graphics, which should result in a sharper overall look.

  • ResourcesYou'll have access to even more resources and blueprint costs for certain modules have been further decreased.
  • Many more Bug Fixes, Tweaks, and improvements
