March Update

This month was mostly research, because I was devoting all of my programming energy to another project.

• Read "Sherlock Holmes's London."

• Mapped out Watson's downtime actions and shopping based on its contents.

• Listened to and took notes on all the stories in "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes."

• Designed two cases: one based on the "Red Headed League" and one on "Scandal in Bohemia" to introduce Irene.

• Designed a case based on the fact that green wallpaper contains arsenic.

• Wrote Moriarty's intro.

A handful of important things I discovered:

In 'The Sign of the Four', Holmes describes a pretty cloud, saying it looks like a flamingo feather. It is adorable.

There is a story called 'The Blue Carbuncle' where Holmes and Watson go on a literal wild goose chase. It is Christmas themed.

There was a very lovely line in 'A Case of identity' about how the minor malfunctions of typewriters make them as individual as fingerprints.
