As the Beta draws to its ritual end, we want to thank every believer who has stepped into the sands of Altherra. Your devotion, feedback, and chaos have helped us shape the Cult into something far stronger — and far stranger.
This final Beta update opens new paths for every leader who dares to command the faithful. The whispers grow louder. The circle tightens. The Cult ascends.
• Cult Leader Customization
You are no longer just the vessel of a forgotten god — you are the face of your cult.
In this update, you can now customize your Cult Leader’s appearance and essence, choosing from new faces, garments, sigils, and colorations that represent your inner corruption or divine favor.
Every leader carries a story. Now, yours will look the part.
• Dash Idols — Motion Becomes Power
The gods have begun blessing your movement itself. Dash Idols are sacred relics that awaken abilities tied to your dash:
Ash-Burst Idol — explode into flames at the end of a dash, scorching nearby enemies.
Gale-Step Idol — each dash increases your movement speed by a divine percentage, letting you chain momentum into madness.
More Idols await in the shadows, each reshaping your rhythm and flow.
The battlefield now responds not only to your will, but to your motion.
• Stories Deepen — and Secrets Stir
This update also weaves new narrative threads into the world of Altherra: Whispers of unseen entities outside the veil, mysterious cults beyond your own, and fragments of reality that blur the line between game and something… else.
Players attentive to detail — both inside and outside the game — may begin to glimpse the lurking truth beneath the Cult’s origins.

With this update, the Hear My Cult Beta closes its final chapter. From here, we move into the next stage of development, bringing everything you’ve helped us refine toward the full release — including expanded Old God systems, new level events, and world-altering consequences tied to your cult’s devotion.
