addedVersion 1.2.4 is submitted for reviews, Patch Notes Are Here! This patch features tons of Unlock and Statistics data and information that was never available on screen before! Every percentage change, every tick of regen, every point of power in every tool, is now displayed on screen, either when Leveling Up or in the pause menu. I still didn't spell out which skill buffs which calculation, but the descriptions are meant to give you a clue (hint : beefcake increases Player Sleepiness (HP) max value). Even the Tool Evolutions show you how much power is added!
changedAs mentioned previously, this is the last "Scheduled" patch I have planned for now. This entire game was based on "no plans" (no you don't say), this started as a Godot tutorial that got me so excited, I had to bring it to release. I want to start working on "The Next Game", though I honestly do not have a specific plan set in stone yet, making plans for it is definitely going to be part of the process, it will be much less "flying by the seat of my pants" than this game has been.
addedThe first steps include More Tutorials and learning, and I suspect it's possible I will learn a thing or two that I just have to add to HTS. So this game is not Ded, I see Steam is marking some early access games i have as "not updated in 2 years", I don't think I want that label on this game. So while updates will probably "slow down", I don't imagine they will ever stop completely, as long as I still draw breath.
addedI have ideas for HTS 2.0 some day, but they will require much content creation, we're talking all new art and music across the baord. I do not guarantee I will ever put that much effort back into this, but if I wanted to "redo" some things, I made everything knowing I left "room for improvement" (what a shocker said my dayjob coworkers). Oh and while I stopped thinking about advertising, I am considering sales and price changes this summer... I bet you get at least one update along those lines ;)
changedUnlocksnew menu item inside Achievements menu - see everything unlockable and your lock status with familiar buttons and filters - shows how every unlock is earned, even some previously obscure ones! - end game unlocks display now details what you did to earn them
changedPause Menunow shows all your current upgrade values for each skill! Not the number of upgrades, but the actual amount/percent never before revealed! - also shows current healing done per tool taken, and skill increases per skill chosen
