Build Your Own Deck is Here

Have you ever played Heads Up and thought, “I could write a better deck?”

Well, that hurts a bit, BUT NOW YOU CAN with our newly launched, Build Your Own deck feature.

Here are some thought starters:

  • Worst TikTok Trends

  • Literal Rocket Science

  • Disgraced Celebrities

  • Basic Quantum Physics Algorithms

  • Regrettable Tattoos

  • The Meaning of Life

  • Terrible Pick-Up Lines

With Build Your Own Deck, please behave. ːgetreadyː

90 Decks and Nothing to Play? Try Random Deck!

The 90’s were great.

So we have 90 decks.

That’s why we did that.

Yes, I promise.

Why are you asking such aggressive questions?

Introducing... Random Deck!!!

(shimmering sound FX) [EMOJIS] [MORE EMOJIS]

Random Deck likes long walks on the beach, hip hop, numbers and letters, dogs…and cats…Wait Random Deck are you just giving me random deck names?!

With Random Deck, the world is your slurp, oyster it up! You’ll never know what to expect, unless you’ve already memorized every deck, in which case you’re a really hardcore player and I’m scared.

I'd like to go home now.

And here’s a preview of our ✨invite-only✨ Twitch Extension.

Your favorite party game just partied a little harder! We’re excited to announce (and more excited to play) our new Twitch Extension for Heads Up! Phones Down Edition.

Here’s how it works!

Streamer Guesses:

Streamers, you’re up! In Streamer Guesses mode, the word you’re gonna want to guess is shown in-stream to your audience and kept secret from you. Now just wait for your viewers to type their clues into chat and (poorly) guess away!

Don’t worry, we’ve already thought about the elephant in the room – the correct word is automatically blocked in chat to prevent your audience from straight up telling you the answer. Don’t cheat.

You know what happens to cheaters, don’t you?

HOT TIP: Disable the Show Moderator Actions in your chat settings by clicking the gear icon located below your chatbox.

Once you guess the word correctly, you can either advance to the next word through in-game controls or have your minions moderators use the !advance_word chat feature.

Here’s what your audience will see in Streamer Guesses mode:

Chat Guesses:

If you guessed that in Chat Guesses mode, your chat guesses while you give out clues, you guessed right! Good for you. ːyouwinː

If you guessed literally anything else, you ought to be ashamed of yourself.

It’s pretty self-explanatory, but I’ll explain it anyway. In Chat Guesses mode, the word to be guessed is shown to you (the Streamer) via the chatbot window in your browser.

It’s up to you to act out the words or give clues while your chat guesses. Simple, right?

HOTTER TIP: Enable our little chatbot friend! It’ll automatically detect correct guesses in your chat.

HOTTEST TIP: With the Auto-Advance Chat feature enabled, a correct guess automatically advances the game to the next word.

When time’s up, viewers who guessed correctly are displayed on the scorecard – neat! ːSTBHandː

Here’s what your stream will look like to your viewers in Chat Guesses mode:
