v1.06 now available and Harem in Another World 2 Announcement!

It's finally here! Our new game announcement! Harem in Another World 2 is now in development!! But first, lets go over the new update to Harem in Another World

This is a small update based on player feedback for various parts and bug reports. Your feedback helps shape the game so thank you to everyone who has left reviews and recommend things in the discord server! Changelog:

• Player speed now defaults to run instead of walk. The option was always there, but the game is designed to be played with it turned on, so thought it best to just default it. You can still turn it off if that is your preference

• Final quest has addtional objective to fix up the front of the castle, this was always an objective but was hidden before leading to confusion.

• The ultimate climax achievement is now permenantly unlocked when you achieve it. So if you load back into a save you will see all the achievments completed(Will need to unlock again if going back to old save)

• Added the ability to view other endings, once you have finished the game with S rank, you can go and talk to Barbara in her office to view the other possible endings(As with above, you will need to view the ending again to unlock this).

• Girls can no longer be pregnant during the drinking competition (ᵕ ⚆_⚆)

• Fixed bandits wandering around in forest if not killed during Elsy's first quest

• Fixed 28 inches later quest appearing in Russian randomly

• Fixed Orla's scene with Mia putting you in the Master bedroom even if it's not unlocked yet

• Fixed Madeleine scene showing house upgrade to bedrooms even if not unlocked yet

• Fixed skipping Annie scene in recollection room breaking

• Fixed emote appearing in wrong place when trying to enter Orla's room in goblin village

Thank you all for supporting the development of the first game, it has gone better than I had dreamed of and I'm so excited to keep up the good work and jump into the next project! For now, I've done a Q/A style thing with various questions about the new game. Feel free to comment any more that you have and I will answer them as best I can.

Will this continue the first game or is it a new story?

This will continue on from the first game, following the MC and his friends as they take on a new adventure. A new land with new girls to meet

Will the art be the same?

Yes, I will be continuing to work with my artist Starli so the art will stay in the same style

Will the gameplay be the same?

No, I am planning on using a different type of gameplay. Less walking around maps and more VN and management style. I'll expanded on this more in the future when I have more to show and will be listening to player feedback on it. I want to take what works best from the first game and improve it in the second.

Will X character be in it?

It takes place in the same world after the first game, so expect old characters to pop up along the way on your adventure

Will you be expanding the development team?

Currently no, I like how things work right now, and being able to have control over all parts. I'm not against it in the future but no changes for now.

I thought you were taking a break?

I did plan to do that, but I found I couldn't take a break after releasing the first game as there was so much more work to be done! I do plan on taking a holiday at some point, but probably later in the year.

Didn't you want to make a small game first?

I thought that after finishing a big project I would be burnt out and want something different, but actually I'm really excited to start another big project. It's intimidating at first, but a fun mountain to climb

When can we see it?

When I think it's ready to be seen! I don't want to rush it out, I want the first version to be engaging. Hopefully there will be something ready in a few months time, but it's hard to tell at the start as there is a lot of groundwork/building blocks that need to be done first.
