🎉 Steam Frame Verified 🎉

Let's start the week with a big one. We're happy to announce that Hard Bullet is now one of the first Steam Frame Verified titles on the Store! No need to purchase the game again — the Steam Frame version is included with your existing Hard Bullet purchase on Steam. If you already own the game, the Frame version will automatically appear in your headset's library.

🔫 Large-Caliber Weapons Deal More Visual Damage

High-caliber rounds now inflict much more devastating visual damage. We've enhanced the impact effects for several powerful pistols and rifles, making their hits feel significantly more brutal.

These weapons are also now one-shot kills, as they inflict injuries incompatible with life.

The following weapons have been upgraded:

  • All 12-gauge shotguns

  • Core Pistol

  • Bonecrusher

  • Big Iron

  • Narwal

  • Henry break-action rifles

💥 Improved Explosions

Explosions now have multiple damage tiers depending on the size of the explosive (a firecracker is less powerful than an explosive barrel) and increased blast force.

Now, if you detonate a grenade right next to an enemy's head... expect a horrifyingly realistic result.

Losing some limbs will make enemies drop to the ground and die in agony.

🔄️ Improved Enemy Navigation

Yep, you've seen it right. Enemies should no longer stumble over scattered bodies and objects.

How it works: By default, dead bodies become non-solid, allowing both players and enemies to walk through them. However, as soon as a player interacts with a corpse, it regains its physical collision and can once again push enemies around.

This means you can still grab, drag, and throw dead bodies without them constantly blocking enemy movement.

And that's not all! We also looked at other objects that could get in their way. Thrown guns, armor helmets, and empty magazines will no longer make enemies stumble or interfere with their path toward you.

For players who enjoy building mountains of corpses, we've added an option in Settings that restores collision for all dead bodies at any time.

🥽 Improved Performance and Lowered Update Size

We've also improved the shader precompilation/baking system, which should reduce stuttering when visual effects appear. We've also reduced the number of new files to download after the updates; now it's about 10GB.

Thank you for your support; we hope that you'll enjoy this update!
