Happy Bastards changes
Happy Bastards Combat Playtest V3 is now Live!
We've just updated our playtest with new features and improvements
Version Updates:
This new version includes many changes. We won’t bother you with the details here, as you can read it all in the game’s splash screen, but in summary:
New art style
The character generator
Inspect mode
Dungeon exploration
Dungeon events; including traps, dialogues and dilemmas
Loot; including potions and battle charms
Out-of-combat HUD and UI
A few new combat elements, like the Meatshield ability or the Goblin Dung Slinger
Many improvements to existing combat features, stats and UX
In other words, the aim with v3 was to go beyond a simple combat playtest, and to expand it to be a dungeon delve simulation. Of course, this is in no way complete or fully polished, but we’re adding to the experience one step at a time. Let us know if you think we are on the right track.
The step after this one? The open world.
