Regarding the Content of This Patch Update:
Note: After the update, a small number of old save files may become invalid due to bugs or other issues. Due to limitations of the engine mechanism, it is impossible to fully resolve this problem. If such an issue occurs, you can try loading a save file from one or two steps back to continue the game. We apologize for any inconvenience caused!
DLC Changes:
Optimized and corrected the character standing images and walking sprites in the original art package.
Added split versions of some facial expressions for all in-game characters.
Added walking sprites for Nozomi Kurusu and Mao Shiina.
Bug Fixes:
Text-related Fixes
Fixed a timeline bug in the prologue.
Corrected a spelling error in the English text of a certain ending.
Fixed an issue where "Kion"’s name was displayed incorrectly at a specific point in the prologue.
Corrected some typos.
Gameplay-related Fixes
Fixed a bug in Kino’s route: during the opening CG of the zombie minigame, zombies would move and attack the player while the game was paused under certain circumstances.
Fixed a bug where feeding Misu on the rooftop did not deduct dried fish normally, resulting in incorrect display of dried fish quantity afterward.
Fixed a bug in the chase sequence of Kino’s route that allowed the player to move outside the map boundaries.
Fixed a bug in Kine and Hanabi double puzzle minigame where monsters would directly attack Kion under specific conditions.
Fixed a critical error in Inori’s walking sprites.
Optimizations and Content Updates:
Optimized the text of some dialogues to make the lines and content more logical and consistent.
Optimized and slightly adjusted content related to kyuka Shiomiya (such as kyuka”s terms of address for her parents) in the maze library of Chapter 3 in Kion’s route.
Slightly reduced the difficulty of dealing with the final monster in the library maze.
Added additional hints that appear in the early stages of the game.
Changed the positions of certain save points that previously caused the game to become unplayable after each version update.
In response to player suggestions and demands, we are currently working on developing an ending collection room and a Misu collection progress bar!
After this update, if there are no critical bugs affecting gameplay that require a hotfix, no further updates will be released in the near term. All issues will be addressed collectively in the next update. The next update is expected to be a major one, which will be released before the launch of the side story & epilogue DLC. Depending on the situation, some mazes may also be partially reworked.
