Version 0.3.1 is now live on the pre-release branch!

With summer now in full swing, it’s been some time since our last update here on Steam, but we’re finally ready to show people at least part of what we’ve been up to for the last couple of months here at Valiant.

addedWith summer now in full swing, it’s been some time since our last update here on Steam, but we’re finally ready to show people at least part of what we’ve been up to for the last couple of months here at Valiant. To that end, we’ve just released Gyrodisc Super League v0.3.1 to the Steam pre-release branch, which brings with it our fourth playable character: the irrepressible Aria Mistry! Hailing from India, Aria lacks the raw power that characters like Ivar and John bring to the table and is a little less nimble than Jess. But what she lacks in pure athleticism she makes up for with her mastery of tricky curving shots that can easily wrong foot opponents. In addition, she’s armed with a unique dive that allows her to recover more easily from a misjudged lunge, and is a little quicker than the others whilst charging making opportunistic super moves more of an option. In addition to Aria’s debut, this update also adds some improved audience models to the arena, and various animation improvements including new strafing animations for the players during the super charge and serve. Switch over to the prerelease branch in the game’s properties on Steam if you want to check out the new features. As ever we look forward to hearing your feedback on the discussion forum, and please report any bugs you encounter in the relevant Report a Bug forum.
