Gameplay
changedGunship Origins is a combat helicopter game reminiscent of the great helicopter simulators of the 90s like Gunship 2000 and Comanche, with modern co-op multiplayer, cross-platform (Windows, macOS, Linux, Steam Deck) support, dynamic missions, pilot progression, multi-helicopter gameplay, and more.
addedIn the coming months, I'll be working hard on the roadmap . There's a lot more to come: dozens of enemy vehicles, new threats, new mission types, and the full pilot progression system. MicroProse has put their considerable capabilities behind my vision and believes in it. I've had a great experience so far working with their team and feel like it's a perfect fit. I can't wait to get the game into your hands.
changedHuge thanks to: Denton Holmgren, Lucas Holmgren, Ron Holmgren, Cpt. Craig Coyle, Jim Day (original Gunship 2000 game designer), Todd Werth, Gant Laborde, Lee Gilkerson, all the beta testers and others who encouraged me along the way, the talented team at MicroProse, as well as my wonderful kids Cedric (& Tricia / Kamri), Cally, Vanna, and Vessa, and of course my amazing wife Chyra for putting up with all the late evenings and excited helicopter talk.

MicroProse holds a really special place in my heart -- I grew up playing Gunship 2000, M1 Tank Platoon, F117, and so many more of their awesome games in the 90s, so getting to partner with them now feels incredibly full circle.
As part of this, Into the Dawn is now Gunship Origins. It's a dream come true to build the next Gunship, and I don't take this responsibility lightly.
