GunsBox VR changes
Dear players!
As we step into the New Year, we want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for being part of our community. May this year bring you joy, inspiration, new achievements, and unforgettable moments — both in the real world and inside GunsBox VR. We wish you a year full of fun matches, great victories, and positive emotions every time you jump into the game!
This update delivers a wide range of fixes and optimizations aimed at making your experience smoother, more stable, and more enjoyable. Your feedback continues to shape the future of GunsBox VR, and we truly appreciate your support.
We have rewritten the item interaction systems, including fixing many issues related to weapon grips and handling, making interactions feel more natural and reliable.
In addition, we have optimized around a hundred object models, significantly improving performance and stability across the game.
The Lobby location has been refreshed, giving it an improved visual style and a better first impression when launching the game.
We’ve also enhanced the in-game Armory and Store, making them more convenient and polished. On top of that, new items have been added to the in-game shop, so be sure to check them out and expand your collection. And as promised, many of the new items have been automatically unlocked for our veteran players who supported the project during its early development. Your support means the world to us — thank you for believing in GunsBox VR from the very beginning ❤️
STI Shooter Master
Steam post imageThe STI Shooter Master pistol is a modern design that combines the classic M1911 design with a high—capacity double-row magazine (hence the "2011"), which provides significantly more ammunition compared to the original. STI Shooter Master is a modification for sports shooting. The most reliable design of the pistol ensures the best performance and accuracy of shooting.
Kriss Vector
Steam post imageThe KRISS Vector is a series of weapons based upon the parent submachine gun design developed by the American company KRISS USA, formerly Transformational Defense Industries (TDI). Designed in 2006 and seeing limited production since 2009, the KRISS Vector uses an unconventional delayed blowback system combined with in-line design to reduce perceived recoil and muzzle climb, invented by French engineer Renaud Kerbrat. The weapon is designed to accept extended Glock magazines and fires a variety of pistol cartridges. It is produced in 9×19 mm, .40 S&W and .45 ACP.
SIG Sauer MPX
Steam post imageSteam post image
The SIG MPX is a gas-operated submachine gun designed and manufactured by SIG Sauer, and is primarily chambered in 9×19mm Parabellum. It is a gas-operated firearm featuring a closed, rotating bolt. These design features, rare in submachine guns, were chosen to enhance the safety of the user and to have a more reliable firearm. It was designed in 2013 and was released to the general public in 2015. It features the SIG Sauer short stroke push-rod gas system to reduce the recoil and improve the reliability of the weapon.
FN57 MK2
Steam post imageThe FN Five-seven is a semi-automatic pistol designed and manufactured by FN Herstal in Belgium. The pistol is named for the 5.7×28mm cartridge's bullet diameter, and the trademark's capitalization style is intended to emphasize the manufacturer's initials—FN. The Five-seven MK2 model was introduced in 2013, and is now the standard version of the Five-seven offered by FN Herstal.
