The Mystic Update is here!

Her tarot cards will move even the most cold-hearted sceptics, unlocking new ways to play and even deadlier combinations. For now, you can get a first taste of the tarot system with these three upgrades:

What's on offer (for now):

• Healthy: Add one more max heart, right from the beginning. Because sometimes the crypt just wants you dead faster than you'd like.

• Projectile Dodge: 30% chance to dodge enemy projectiles. Yes. Bullets can miss you now, if you are lucky enough. Let that sink in.

• Demolitionist: Start each run with one extra bomb. Hit the crypt floor already packing heat and make Plunderin' Pete proud.

However, these won't come for free: you'll need to find scrolls in the crypt in order to unlock every upgrade, bringing them to Matilda for her... Magicky stuff. We don't know what she does with them, but what's for sure is that you are going to need a lot. More upgrades are coming but for now, these three should shake up your runs nicely.

Also: Steam Remapping controller Support is in!

You can now remap controls through Steam's built-in remapping system and play GunCrypt with a controller. It's not full native controller support yet, as that's coming down the line along with proper in-game settings, but if you've been wanting to blast through the crypt from your couch, you can do that now.
