GUITAR WORKSHOP changes
Hello everyone,
I want to start by saying a huge thank you for the incredible support Guitar Workshop has been receiving lately. Seeing the rising number of wishlists and the genuine interest in this project means the world to me as a solo developer. Your encouragement keeps me motivated to make this the best experience possible.
I have been focusing on making the workshop feel more alive and responsive. This update covers a major overhaul of how you interact with the world and the tools at your disposal.
Enhanced NPC Interactions & Reputation
I am currently working on a more immersive NPC interaction system to bring more depth to your daily business.
Players will be able to engage in dialogue with multiple response choices, supported by MetaHuman characters featuring facial animations for more realistic emotional feedback.
NPC behavior is also evolving. They can now pick up and drop their instruments and react dynamically to your actions.
I am also implementing a patience system if an NPC waits too long without interaction, they will eventually leave.
Furthermore, the way you treat these characters will now directly influence your reputation, adding a deeper layer of consequence to your role-play.
Refining the Creative Process
I’m refining the instrument painting system UI to make it more dynamic, responsive, and visually optimized. My goal is to ensure the user experience feels as smooth as the finish on a high-end guitar.
Finally, I am developing a wood sculpting machine that allows you to shape guitar and bass bodies and necks in great detail.
This gives you full creative control over the foundation of your builds, including:
Choosing various wood species
Selecting specific body shapes
Configuring custom hardware and pickup routing
Designing control layouts for switches and potentiometers
Customizing neck designs
Thank you for following along and for your continued support of Guitar Workshop. I am incredibly excited to share more progress with you as these systems continue to evolve.
If you haven’t already, please consider adding the game to your wishlist it is the best way to support the project.
