changed1) Holiday Season CompetitionOriginally set for "Q4 2025", we nudged release to avoid the fierce number of games coming out right now. Seeing how many games GaG would have to compete in order to have a decent amount of publicity, I realised releasing around the end-of-year holiday season was a no-go. Let's not make a rookie indie game dev move and stumble at the last hurdle.
changed2) Translations on LaunchWe want to have multiple languages available upon release , since so much of our audience is non-English speaking, and this will give translators time to try achieve that .
changedA montage of developmentWishing you all the best in the approaching holiday season!

GaG is releasing on 2 February 2026!

1) Holiday Season Competition

Originally set for "Q4 2025", we nudged release to avoid the fierce number of games coming out right now. Seeing how many games GaG would have to compete in order to have a decent amount of publicity, I realised releasing around the end-of-year holiday season was a no-go. Let's not make a rookie indie game dev move and stumble at the last hurdle.

2) Translations on Launch

We want to have multiple languages available upon release, since so much of our audience is non-English speaking, and this will give translators time to try achieve that.

Grow a Girlfriend surpassed its wishlist goal!

Thank you to everyone involved! We're at over 8000 wishlists now and this is a huge achievement for an indie game! It means we are more likely to have a spot on "Popular and Upcoming" the weekend before and day of our release, which is going to help our publicity so much.

I am a trained biologist and I love making graphs. If you're curious about our fanbase demographic too, have a look. If you wishlisted the game, your number is here!

A montage of development

To end off is a 30 second montage of my work behind the scenes for the last 2 years:

Thank you to everyone who wishlisted, donated, became a patron, translated the demo, or just patiently supported and followed me along the process of creating a game.

Wishing you all the best in the approaching holiday season!
