Thank you to everyone who messaged me and sent an email regarding the game's bugs. Here's a breakdown of the first update:

New content:

  • "Casual" modeafter hearing feedback that some players wanted to experience the story, but found the combat very difficult or wanted to spend less time in combat, I included a mode that lowered the amount of fights and made progression easier in the game to make the game's world more accessible.
  • You can get a baguette.

Significant changes:

  • A previously inaccessible ghost wall can now be entered.

  • Some fights have been made easier.

  • You gain a tiny bit of Spirit Energy when you pass out. (This was to avoid players accidentally soft locking themselves out of winning a battle).

Bug fixes:

  • The speed glitch that resets your speed to 1 is fixed. To players who have encountered this, replaying the last boss battle should put your speed back to normal.

  • There are no more infinite muffins. (To make up for this loss, there is now a stack of muffins hidden somewhere).

  • Minor collision errors.

  • Accidental repeated cut scenes with Grimm and Baker are gone.

  • You can no longer open up the menu during some cutscenes.

  • Swinging is now slightly more accurate.

  • It was previously possible to encounter an error where the defence stat could never be maxed out.

There are somethings which I am struggling to fix and therefore haven't been changed - for example, the evasion bar still unfortunately sometimes overlaps with the player selecting a command.

If you find any other errors in the newest update (that haven't been mentioned in the forums), please do make a new topic or message me by email on grimmshollowgame@gmail.com and I'll note it down.
