Green Inferno changes
In 2019, we met Ruggero Deodato through a mutual friend and he let us look through his desk of unfinished projects. We found his outline for a Cannibal Holocaust sequel that was never made. We decided to turn it into a game.
What followed was one of the most difficult development journeys we've ever had.
Our first teaser went viral, then we got a cease & desist from lawyers. Months of legal negotiations followed.
We rebranded to Borneo
A Jungle Nightmare and went 3D, but the new trailer triggered an international backlash accusing us of racism and daily death threats. Internally, some of us wanted to cancel the project entirely.
Deodato told us
"Don't worry guys, I've already been there. Just do your thing and ignore them."
By end of 2021, Ruggero's health was failing. In December 2022, he passed away. We held our horses, decided to continue, and released a short visual novel (Cannibal Tales) to build the universe while we figured out the right shape for the main game.
Green Inferno is that main game.
What is Green Inferno?
A Point & Click Horror Deduction Thriller based on Deodato's original screenplay. You investigate scenes, collect clues, and use a deduction panel to answer questions about what happened. Explicit gore, multiple endings tied to your investigative skill, photorealistic visuals with a retro Italian horror aesthetic.
Demo
August 2026.
Full release
November 2026.
