A new regular update [1.0.1.1334 (b14931532)] is now live with the following changes:

Added

  • Military battlefields have special conditions giving bonuses and penalties (more complex ones come after summer holidays)

Updated

  • Siege battlefields have additional layout options

  • When creating a new game, players can edit initial characters skills and traits

    • Characters skills must be at least 1 and if trait makes a skill negative, player must add skill points to that skill before continuing

    • Traits are now either negative, neutral or positive, the more negative traits player chooses for character, the more positive ones can also be added

    • Maximum number of personality traits is 5 alongside with one life or reputation trait

    • Opposite traits cannot be added

  • Because traits can be given at the start of the game, some of them were rebalanced:

    • Cruel now also gives -2 to diplomacy

    • Diligent is now fixed, it didn’t give 10% defense it should have given

    • Bridge-builder diplomacy increased 2 → 3 and now gives +10 relations against everyone, but is the most expensive trait to give alongside genius

    • Stubborn now gives -5 relations against everyone for being the opposite trait of bridge-builder

    • Vengeful military decreased 2 → 1 and diplomacy decreased -2 → -3

    • Wrathful now also gives -2 to economy

  • Bandits no longer burn farms, saws or mines instantly, instead it will take them some days to do so. This gives the fiefdom time to defend themselves

  • Allow separate bonuses from battlefield conditions for ranged units.

Fixed

  • Crash in a rare case when AI loses all their family members due to a bug

Known Issues

  • UI scaling might cause some buttons to go outside the screen on some resolutions. To fix this, adjust the UI scaling percentage in Video Settings.

  • Character customization images might fail to load occasionally. The UI still works, and reopening the menu sometimes fixes the issue.

  • Army movement with “intercept” command, might not work correctly all the time

  • Tooltips may not work properly on all zoom levels. Try zooming into the map to fix issues.

  • Characters show Military damage FX in Conflict

  • Great Houses of Calderia Team -
