What a ride!

Gravity Force made it from The first Prototype (back then in UNITY) nearly to a game ready to release. Then Greedy John did his infamous stunt and ruined a whole community. May water run down his sleeves every time he washes his hands.

How ever - now we are here. Gravity Force has been re-implemented line by line, this time in Unreal Engine. We are at Version 1.0. Have fun!

  • Added a switch to choose between perspective, orthographic and "immersive" game mode

  • Added a "tip of the day" section to the main menu where (hopefully) useful tips are displayed

  • Added the "Mineshaft" level "Entropy". Now Entropynium is in the game...

  • Added rotating signal lights to the homebase to make it a bit more distinguishable from the landing platform

  • Added some missing localization data

  • Added a white frame around checkboxes in the settings dialogue to increase visibility

  • Re-aranged some elements in the settings dialogue

  • Tweaked the magnets in some "Asteroids" levels to make landing a bit less challenging

  • Tweaked the magnets in the level "Anomaly" to be a bit stronger. Just for fun

  • Moved the "send feedback" button to the main menu. You can still use the F8-key if you want to.

  • Finally fixed a bug in the settings dialogue that prevented newly bound input keys to be displayed without restart

  • Fixed a bug that (in some cases) caused game crashes.

  • Remove a bunch of unused Tick()-function calls and event hooks, which contributes to performance optimization

  • Removed the "delete" button from the leaderboards, as it was kind of buggy. Will come back when fixed

  • Temporarily removed some not yet fully working stuff (spiderwebs, ...) for upcoming updates

  • Spent a lot of time (and I mean **a lot**) trying to fix the downloading of ghosts. Still with underwhelming success.

  • Slightly adjusted the camera offset to not make the camera clip into the cave walls when in immersive mode

  • Swapped the order of the difficulty selector at startup

  • Updated the Steam screenshots to only show content that really is part of the final game
