Gravewatch changes
With the crowdfunding campaign launching soon, I’m thrilled to announce that the largest update yet for the Gravewatch demo is now live! I’ve taken your feedback to heart and made major improvements to gameplay, visuals, and performance to give you a better look at how Gravewatch is shaping up.
Here’s everything that’s new:
🔧 Completely Reworked Healing System
Manual healing is gone! Health now regenerates automatically when out of combat, making for a smoother, less frustrating experience. The old healing syringes have been replaced with Epinephrine Shots, which provide a temporary speed boost, perfect for quick getaways.
💀 New Death Animations & Cutscene Improvements
Death has never looked so… dramatic. I’ve added new death animations and enhanced several cutscenes to better reflect the tone and quality of the full game.
🏚️ Reworked Environments
Multiple areas have been reworked using new assets, greatly improving visual consistency and the overall atmosphere. Expect a more immersive, cohesive, and unsettling world.
🌫️ Improved Atmosphere
The world now feels heavier, darker, and more real thanks to volumetric fog and other environmental enhancements. These changes bring the atmosphere to a whole new level.
📖 Overhauled UI & Journal Design
The User Interface and Journal system have received a major visual overhaul, making them cleaner, more readable, and more fitting with the game’s tone.
🚀 Performance Boosts & Bug Fixes
Performance has been slightly improved, and many bugs have been fixed thanks to your reports. The demo should now run smoother, especially on mid-range hardware.
