Granvir changes
This week's update introduces a big batch of handheld equipment with integrated boosters to all tiers. The new equipment has a high heat cost to utilize but provides much of what a melee build needs in one accessible package.
The ability to save and load Granvir in Sandbox has also been added. Utilizing the new Custom Difficulty setting Custom Loadout, any campaign can be started with one of your saved builds. The custom loadout replaces all starting parts and items of a pilot and comes fully loaded on ammunition.
2.42.0
Major Features
Added the ability to save and load Granvir in Sandbox.
Added the custom difficulty setting Custom Loadout that replaces starting loadouts with a single choice from any saved Granvir.
Added the RG Lone Strike greatsword series to all tiers. The Lone Strike is a heavy two-handed weapon with an integrated booster it can activate to perform a continuous dash and deal heavy damage. Three additional variants with a faster boost speed but higher swing heat and a laser edge have also been added.
Added the BS Umbrella and ZP Manta shields across all tiers. These shields carry a massive booster that provides a continuous boost.
Added the GW Broomstick scythes to tier 2, 3 and 4. The Broomstick is a massive two handed scythe with an integrated booster it can activate to perform a continuous dash and deal heavy damage.
Minor Features
Added a speedometer that can be toggled off in the settings. The speedometer units are arbitrary and align with top speed stats on mobility parts.
Item purchases, rewards from scraping parts, resistance support and resistance caches will be added to your cargo hold or depot inventory based on whether or not the contents of the depot are lost after completing the rest. If the items will be lost, the cargo hold will be prioritized.
Increased the alignment aggression of strafe mode so legs are aligned more quickly.
Added an extra module type part to component vendors.
Added a more expensive upgrade path to take torsos with no back mounts and the potential for 1 and 2 directly to 2 back mounts.
Fixes
Fixed not being able to apply beam weapon enhancements and a melee damage boost enhancement to the same weapon.
Fixed the Full Loot custom difficulty setting not working in Millennium Front and Millennium Eclipse.
Fixed weapons in holsters not remembering their assigned weapon groups when loading a save.
