They're not quite ready for prime-time yet -- I'm still making sure they're balanced! -- but they'll be part of the first update that should come out late next week.
addedSheriff Sanders is the new lawman in town; unlike other law-abiding characters you can play, he's particularly good at recruiting new deputies.
addedIn addition to the new characters and their special attributes, this update will bring a bunch of little fixes and improvements that folks have been suggesting. In the meantime, keep those wagons rolling!

  • 'Red' Rosa Lee is your girl if you rely on Saloons for recruiting. As a fortune teller, she can also work in Saloons for extra gold.

  • If you prefer to take the Governor's office by force, you might prefer Kitty Carstars. Raids & gunfights are her speciality!

  • Sheriff Sanders is the new lawman in town; unlike other law-abiding characters you can play, he's particularly good at recruiting new deputies.

  • and finally, Hardball Harry always wanted to join the army, but just couldn't stand the uniform. He gets extra dread when enlisting at forts, but unlike an ordinary soldier he can still outlaw it up when he wants.

In addition to the new characters and their special attributes, this update will bring a bunch of little fixes and improvements that folks have been suggesting. In the meantime, keep those wagons rolling!
