Phase 4 arrives with new features

Changes for Phase 4

• Added multi-items. From the Play Settings you can adjust how often multi-items occur and how many items are used.

• Added a new scene, Game Room.

• Added a new 8 minute song, Tropical Ride.

• Achievements have been added, 1 for each of the 15 unlockable hats.

• The loading times have been improved.

• Added 2 new items totaling 26.

• Practice has been renamed to Standard. All descriptions have been updated.

• Removed leaderboard and challenges, and any association with the server. This feature may come back in future updates. Note: The Twitch Integration is unchanged and still works as expected.

The leaderboard functionality wasn't seeing as much usage as we would have liked, so the leaderboards have been temporarily removed. No game content was changed because of this, but guesses will no longer be uploaded and ranked on our server.

This decision did not come lightly but it made sense given most of our users utilize the Twitch integration to play along with their stream audience. We hope to one day readd this feature and we still have all of the code ready to reactivate. We will continue to evaluate reactivating leaderboards given the size and demand of users playing Goosey Guess.

We also lumped phase 3 and 4 together into one release since we had everything ready to go.

Hats have been reorganized

• Sun hat - Submit a guess with every item (replaced daily challenge).

• Beret - Submit a guess with every container (replaced weekly challenge).

• Nurse - Submit a guess on all 3 scenes (replaced 25 challenges).

• Fez - Spend a total of 45 minutes making guesses (replaced challenge with 90% accuracy).

• Wizard - Connect to Twitch (replaced view leaderboard).

• Sombrero - 100 guesses (replaced 10 leaderboard guesses).

• Fedora - Play a Custom game with 1 item and 1 container selected (replaced 3 consecutive daily challenges).

If you unlocked a hat with its previous goal, the hat will remain unlocked with this update. Additionally all achievements will be earned for existing unlocked hats the first time they are viewed.
