Yeah, many of the achievements are patronizing, like giving you an achievement for getting over the first tiny hill, then giving you an achievement for getting that achievement, but it's Goop Loop. What do you expect?
There are some more challenging achievements too, though, like getting the golden loop or juggling a paint bucket.
