In this patch, we want to tackle the problem of things that are too hard to control or interact with.
GAMEPLAY
• Golf Swing - Tap & Full Swing hit-box collisions have been adjusted to cover more areas. (Should overall feel easier to connect each shot)
• Golf Ball - Is now lighter and bouncier against the wall. You can now use Full Swing to cross the water in certain stages
• Stage - Adjust most stages to have fewer walls & obstacles along the pain path, and lower the difficulty of certain stages. - The stages in the demo will now cycle from time to time to keep things fresh. - 0.1.3 Stage rotation includes [Cove 6, 7, 8] and [Cemetery 7, 8, 9]
• Checkpoint - Now respawn BOTH players or golf balls near the checkpoint whenever they fall off the stage. - Removed the checkpoint secure period. The player can now capture the checkpoint at any moment.
• Explosive Barrel - Now has 7 HP - Now knocks further when the player swings at it
• Ghosts - [Wander Ghost] Reduce wandering radius significantly. - [Ghost Statue] Will now release the ghost wave when the player walks in front of it. (Note: You can still hit it from another angle to release the ghosts) The cooldown has been increased slightly.
UX/UI
• Added Main Menu & Preparation Scene
• Indicator - [Golf Alert] When you wander off too far from your own golf ball for a certain period, an indicator will appear to make it easier to find. - Stage interactions now have an indicator that tells you how to interact with certain objects. - Improve the critical strike indicator when fully charged.
• Lobby - Remote Play Zone now requires a confirmed button press to avoid players accidentally stepping on. - Slightly improve the tutorial.
• Button Glyph - Now displays a matching button when connecting through PS4 and Xbox controllers.
SOUND
• New BGM for Cemetery theme. • Added a randomized pitch and slightly reduced the overall volume of Tap & Full Swing sounds.
BUG FIX
• Fixed inaccurate colliders in various stages. • Fixed the problem where you can get stuck inside an invisible wall in the lobby.
