It's been a while since the last update, but a lot of progress has been happening behind the scenes.

I'm excited to finally open Golden Self's Playtest and let players experience the game while helping shape the upcoming demo.

Playtest Now Open

  • The Golden Self Playtest is now live on Steam.

  • If you'd like to help shape the upcoming demo, you can request access directly on the store page.

Visual Update

  • The visuals of Golden Self have received a major upgrade, including improved environments, props and overall visual cohesion.

New Boss, Cutscenes and Items

  • A new giant Boss has entered the world of Golden Self.

    This encounter introduces players to the core mechanics of the game. If you can master this boss, you are ready to dive deeper into the challenges ahead.

  • New cutscenes have also been added to strengthen the atmosphere and narrative flow of the game.

  • Additionally, many weapons have received new abilities to make each item more unique and interesting.

Save / Load System

  • A full save and load system has now been implemented, allowing players to continue their journey more smoothly.

Looking Ahead

  • A major announcement is coming soon. I can't reveal much yet, but more will be shared in the coming weeks.

  • My focus now is to create more exciting giant bosses, further polish gameplay, expand the visuals, and continue building a strong community around the game.
