Greetings Golden Retrievers and welcome to our first development update! My brother and I have been having a great time developing the game this summer. The game has officially been in development for over a year now! We've been testing out new ideas and refining old ones. We think you'll be happy with the progress and we'd like to update you on the game.

We figured out what was fun, and what wasn't. Made modifications, and implemented features from the feedback we got. We took down the old demo and are currently working on the newer demo.

Updates and Improvements Made So Far:

Enemy Updates

Dinos spawn from black sludge instead of randomly
Waste bags will explode after a few minutes and create black sludge
Dinos eat gold nuggets and gold coins

Processing Gold Mechanics

Bags of Gold dirt turn into gold nuggets and must then be smelted into gold coins.
Your washplant needs both gas and water to run.

Recycling Bin

Gives you coal now when you insert waste dirt
Can recycle Dino Prisoners for fossils
Waste bags do not give you negative coins any longer

New Rent and Puppies Systems

Fat Cat collects his rent from your ATM every month now.
Puppies are born every month and require resources to grow.
Puppies can become workers and soldiers.

Underground

New block types
New hazards
Improved artwork

UI

Changed Inventory system
Changed layout of UI
Added energy bar
