addedWithin the next two weeks we plan to launch the first Public Test Server of the new version of our beloved game. For those who haven't been following the news over the past year, or who have only just joined us, our team has completely rewritten the game on a new engine, both the server and the client side.
changedWe did this for several reasons at once. It lets us implement features that were simply impossible before, it opens the door to porting the game to mobile platforms, browser and consoles, and it significantly improves performance.
fixedHowever, our number one priority at this stage is to fully preserve the spirit of the game. Right now we're working hard to make sure the average player won't feel any difference when moving from the old client-server platform to the new one. Our dedicated testers have spent months hunting bugs and reporting them, and a huge number have already been fixed. Now it's time to show the new game to you, the players.
addedIt will also let us run a server stress test and figure out exactly how much capacity we'll need to support our servers once we move to the new platform.
addedHere's how I picture the public test. Every player who wants to take part will start from level 1. We'll create a dedicated Discord thread where you can post bugs, suggestions and criticism. While I'm sure many of you will be curious just to log in and try the new client and server, we still need a proper stress test, and for that we need as many players as possible. That's why I'm considering giving a reward on the main server for reaching a certain level on the test server.
changedStay tuned. More news about the test is coming very soon.

Hi everyone!
