Greetings Reapers,
A while ago, we invited you to inspire us with your favorite gods, characters, stories and elements from Egyptian mythology as part of our next mythology exploration.
And you delivered!
From detailed descriptions to original artwork, your ideas were powerful, haunting and incredibly aligned with the themes we love to explore. We can’t thank you enough.
Today, we’re excited to share the concept artworks our team created based directly on your inspirations.
Gods Are Gone

The still-moving corpse of Anubis, wandering with his severed head. The gods are dead. The realms are in chaos.
As a Reaper, you must unravel the mystery behind their fall and restore order.
Apophis Devouring Ra’s Sun

From the remains of the Nile, twisted creatures emerge. The great serpent god Apophis stands petrified mid-devouring, forever frozen while attempting to swallow Ra’s sun.
The Blood-Flooded Temple of Khnum

The mummified corpse of Khnum lies at the heart of his temple. From his body, blood pours endlessly, flooding sacred halls once devoted to creation.
A divine sanctuary turned into a monument of decay.
Hatmehyt: Source of Life

Hatmehyt, the River Fertility Goddess, reimagined as a catfish. Though dead, her body remains a source of life, spawning a grotesque oasis of corrupted plants and unnatural growth.
Creation persists… even in death.
Please note that these concept artworks are works in progress. They are subject to change, refinement, or reinterpretation and may not appear in the game exactly as shown. This does not confirm Egyptian mythology as the next chapter in GDR, but one of the mythologies we’re actively exploring.
