Hey everyone! Today, we are releasing a minor update (Update 2.1) for Godbreakers!

This patch introduces a brand-new threat to the world of Astaphan: the Ray Fin, wielding the new ability that players can try out, the Solar Ray. We’ve also expanded the Savage Blade’s arsenal with the new Counter Slash ability, alongside a suite of ability reworks and quality-of-life improvements to keep your runs feeling smooth. Additionally, we’ve tuned the Duelist and Pillar archetypes to ensure their kits feel more powerful and rewarding than ever. Read the full patch notes here 👇
Minor Update
New Enemy
Astaphan’s world gets a new enemy, the Ray Fin, and its ability, Solar Ray.
Weapon abilities
Savage Blade now has a new ability to unlock:
Counter Slash - Enter a defensive stance that gives you 100% Damage Reduction. While active, taking Direct Damage while in this stance causes you to counterattack and also increase your Berserk Counter by 3.
Weapon skin
Savage Blade has a new weapon skin to unlock
Player Inventory
Essences that have a high enough stack count to trigger their trait are now highlighted in theinventory.
Balancing
Weapon abilities
The Pillar’s Temporal Quake Ability is now renamed to Exploding Quake. Instead of applying Slow to all enemies hit with the Charged attack, it will now cause the next Charged Attack to trigger an Explosion on all enemies hit.
The Savage Blade’s Reckless Charge now costs 30 Health instead of 35
The Savage Blade’s Whirling Vortex now costs 90 Health instead of 120
The Duelist’s Sanctuary Zone refills all ammo, and barriers last for longer. Duration is increased to compensate for refilling all Ammo
The Duelist’s Energy Reload ability has a lower cooldown.
Weapon balancing
Lancer’s Primary Air Attack damage has been increased
Reaper’s Secondary Attacks' damage has been very slightly reduced
Duelist Secondary Attack damage has been increased
Duelist Charged Attack damage has been increased
Recollections
Savage Remains Recollection's timer is increased by 30 seconds.
Bug fixes
Fixed issue where dead players could trigger waiting areas (tested and can confirm fixed)
Misc Stability fixes
Fixed issue where Tesla coils are not counted towards Uhr's final quest
Fixed the issue where you could navigate to an empty server browser
Fixed the issue where Venus tendrils would remain attached to dead players
Fixed the issue where you could lose controller input on the map screen in certain situations
Fixed Bullwalk upgrade to correctly provide invulnerability
