God Brawl changes
Volcanoes
You can now create volcanoes to destroy your rival gods' bases and drown their followers in lava. Volcanoes will be one of the most destructive god powers in the game. When you create a volcano it will raise all the land around it up to the maximum world elevation and start emitting lava streams. Any land the lava touches will be burnt - and must be terraformed back to health before villagers can build on it again. Any buildings and people in the immediate vicinity will become very dead.
Rival god AI
Your rivals in the game consist of other gods, who have the same hopes and dreams as you do. Primarily, this consists of more land, more followers, and more belief. The rival god AI has taken its first step forward and is now able to expand its domain, creating flat land in a (somewhat) rational manner. Unfortunately there's only so much land to go around, and so it's only so long before they turn their attention to more destructive activities.
Other noteworthy changes
Improved rendering of player borders, now using stronger colours and drawn over the terrain rather than on hexagons.
Added more detail to the terrain for a bit more variation
Fixed bug causing existential crisis in followers getting stuck on the map edges and staring at the abyss.
What's next
Next iteration of pathfinding and combat for followers 2. 1-2 more god powers, current top contenders from feedback: tsunamis, tornadoes, lightning, swarms, floods.
