β Known Issue - Level Saves
We're aware of issues with reopening your Level Saves from the previous build in our latest update, resulting in object restoration inconsistencies that may cause softlocks.
If you have a saved level, we would recommend starting the level again, rather than booting into a Save from before today's update. This is to mitigate any potential restorable object issues and to ensure you have the best experience cleaning up the dungeons in our latest update!
Dungeon Daddy is here! π
Introducing Dungeon Daddy in our Boss Update for Goblin Cleanup! Welcome to The Throne, a combination of all the previous environments youβve cleaned and ramped up to the maximum.
Reset each area to unlock the next, in turn assisting Dungeon Daddy in an epic battle against⦠the hero! Are we the baddies?
You wouldnβt want to let Dungeon Daddy down, would you? π₯Ί So, make sure youβre thoroughly cleaning the level, finding keys to the next areas, and exploring the vast regions in the finale of Dungeon 1.
We're also excited to say that Dungeon Daddy was named by one of our Kickstarter backers, based on their pledge to help us fund and create Goblin Cleanup- it's awesome to have their suggested name as our first Boss, and it fits the game perfectly! We appreciate our Kickstarter backers' support and everyone who has experienced Goblin Cleanup since our Early Access launch.
So what are you waiting for, Goblin? π Jump into our cleaning-sim today to assist in an epic battle between Dungeon Daddy and the Hero!
π Emote System
Alongside the new Boss Level, we've implemented a new system in Emotes!
Say hi to your Goblin friends with a 'Greet' wave π, shout at them in anger with a 'Furious' foot stampπ‘, or celebrate with a Hooray party stance! π₯³ There are currently six custom-created emotes for you to unlock and select from, with more emotes to come to Goblin Cleanup during future Steam Early Access updates. Complete levels, get tickets, unlock emotes, and equip them in the new Emote tab of the Customisation Menu. Once added to your Emote wheel, press 'G' and emote away!
π Coming Soon - Twitch Drops
The most eagle-eyed Goblins will notice something new in the main menu... π
We've been working to implement Twitch Drops into Goblin Cleanup, and we're happy to announce that Drops will be coming very soon!
Want to be prepared, Goblin? You can currently link your Twitch account in our game via this menu, with more news to follow on when Twitch Drops will be active, and you can unlock new customisation items through watching Twitch livestreams of Goblin Cleanup!
