Glowbot Tower Defense changes
We've just released a major user interface update based on player feedback. Many players felt that the tower management panel took up too much screen space and required too much mouse movement during intense rounds. This update focuses on making tower interactions faster, cleaner, and less intrusive.
New Radial Tower Interface
When selecting a Glowbot, the tower controls now appear directly beside the tower instead of in a large fixed panel on the screen.
The new interface includes:
Tower name
Upgrade button
Sell button
Close button
Range stat
Damage stat
Throw rate stat
The tower level display has been removed from this menu since levels are already displayed above each tower.
New Stat Bars
Tower stats now include visual progress bars:
Red = Low value
Yellow = Medium value
Green = High value
This makes it much easier to compare towers at a glance without reading every number.
New Tower Menu Toggle
A new eye button has been added to the HUD.
Open Eye = Tower build menu visible
Closed Eye = Tower build menu hidden
Players who prefer a cleaner screen can now quickly hide the tower placement menu and focus entirely on the action.
Improved Tower Placement Flow
Tower placement now uses a dedicated Confirm / Cancel popup that appears directly beside the newly placed Glowbot, reducing cursor travel and keeping interactions close to the tower itself.
Additional Improvements
Reduced screen clutter during gameplay
Faster tower management
Better support for multiple camera angles
Improved visibility of important gameplay information
As always, thank you for the feedback. Many of these changes came directly from player suggestions, and we'll continue refining the experience based on your comments.
Good luck defending the galaxy!
