Tutorial added!
You asked, and Glory answered. There's now a full tutorial in the game as well as the existing engine manual, so you can get a full walkthrough on how things work. The tutorial should take around 10-15 minutes to complete.
Quality of Life
There is now a panel at the start of the game to choose between running the Tutorial, or from 3 different difficulty modes. There's only Cadet mode in the demo so don't get too excited!
There's now an extra panel when you hover over the stats in your info box, so you can see better how your item is getting bonuses!
There's now additional info in the distance panel - not only can you see how far you have remaining to your next destination, but distance travelled since your last destination and how far you managed to go in your previous boost!
Numbers have been 'humanized' - it'll be easier to figure out if you've got a million Space Units left to go instead of a measly hundred thousand.
The boost counter now updates when you press the ENGAGE button, rather than at the end of the boost. I noticed some people were getting false hope they had a boost left!
Behaviour of the icons on item effects has been changed so they should only show when relevant to the item effect.
Made it so crew members like the Woodsman add to item's scores in a more intuitive way, so you can track how much bonus they're giving to their item.
You can now see fire accumulate behind the Power and RPM panels when you are sending enough points to them! (This was in the previous mini update, but I didn't make a post about that so here you go).
Bug fixes
The Hardliner now destroys wood and organics, as well as vegetables.
Stopped the info box going off the top of the screen if there was too much info to show.
Resuming a run after quitting or abandoning now keeps the permanent upgrades that were on items.
Stopped items that were getting a permanant stat bonus also gain a temporary bonus for the first boost they were running.
Lots of other little fixes and tweaks!
