When an industry receives a supply of sufficient raw materials, it gradually builds up its Capital Pool. Once full, the industry will automatically upgrade. This change addresses several late-game issues, such as limited goods output when players don’t expand through acquisitions.

changedWhat We've UpdatedA new Port Cargo Allocation feature has been added. When a port's industry has multiple cargo flow directions (warehouses) simultaneously, the game will default to evenly distributing the produced goods to each warehouse, avoiding the previously occurred situation where local demand consumed all exported goods. If you acquire the industry, you can manually adjust the cargo diversion and decide the production attributes of the port yourself. This increases the strategic options for you to explore when planning your routes.

Thanks to that feedback, we're happy to announce that a major update to the Demo Version is live now!

This update includes numerous new features and improvements, which we've been able to make thanks to your support.

What We've Updated

Automatic Upgrading of Ports

Ports will now be able to automatically upgrade after reaching a certain amount of 'Capital Pool'. When an industry receives a supply of sufficient raw materials, it gradually builds up its Capital Pool. Once full, the industry will automatically upgrade. This change addresses several late-game issues, such as limited goods output when players don’t expand through acquisitions.

New "Industrial Demand" Display

The new "Industrial Demand" display panel allows you to check which goods are in demand and being exported. You can now filter by product type and industry, and choose whether to display unlocked ports, making trade route planning faster and more strategic.

Clearer Picture

We've updated the Global Magnates Demo to support 2K and 4K resolution!

Port Cargo Allocation System

A new Port Cargo Allocation feature has been added.

Route Interface Information Update

You will now see detailed information about maritime vessels and current trade routes, including the goods transported between ports, current profits, and the cargo capacity of each vessel. This information helps you plan more wisely, maximize profits, and avoid empty voyages. You can use the newly added filtering function to view your routes more clearly.

Achievement System

Updated in-game Steam achievements, which await you to complete when we launch the official version!

Follow-Up Plan

We plan to continuously improve the current gaming experience; add more scenario content to let you experience maritime trade in other regions, a fully free sandbox mode that opens all ports in the game to you, giving you a vast and free trading world; and the possibilities brought by mod expansion.

We can't wait for all players to experience these improvements and the official game in the future. We will announce the release date soon, but before that, you can:
