Major Update: The HoloVerse
A major new foundation has been added to GLITCHED MATRIX Prototype Lab.
This update marks the beginning of the HoloVerse Gateway, a larger connected experience designed to bring multiple experimental worlds, prototypes, and playable dimensions together through one central launcher.
What This Update Establishes
HoloVerse is becoming the central world hub of the project: a place where experimental modes, alternate realities, lore systems, companion characters, combat zones, and prototype games can all connect.
The new build direction focuses on:
A portable EXE structure for easier testing and distribution.
HoloVerse launching directly from the main Prototype Lab interface.
A stronger bridge between the launcher, the game world, and external prototype modes.
Cleaner runtime routing so future dimensions can be added without breaking the main build.
Continued expansion of the dimensional world system, including regions, bots, lore, and combat layers.
HoloVerse Milestones So Far
This update brings together several important pieces that have been developing across the project:
Prototype Lab Integration
The launcher is being shaped into a gateway for playable experiments. Instead of treating each prototype as a separate project, the goal is to make them feel like connected fragments inside one evolving system.
HoloVerse as the Main Dimensional Hub
HoloVerse is being built as the main bridge between worlds. Regions, bots, dialogue, lore, and special modes are being connected into a larger structure instead of isolated test scenes.
Dimension Expansion
The world system is being prepared for more distinct dimensional zones, including urban combat areas, metropolis-style structures, water regions, desert spaces, ice zones, space layers, and other experimental environments.
Character and Lore Systems
Companion-style characters and region-linked bots are being developed to give each area more identity. The long-term goal is for the world to feel like a living archive of corrupted memories, experimental simulations, and strange personalities inside the Glitched Matrix.
Combat and Arena Foundations
The Urban Warzone direction is being prepared as one of the larger gameplay layers, with plans for enemy waves, capture points, robotic enemies, boss encounters, points, movement upgrades, and dimensional battle effects.
What This Means Going Forward
This update is not just a patch. It is a structural milestone.
The project now has a stronger base for:
Expanding HoloVerse into a true playable hub.
Connecting more prototypes into the same launcher.
Adding dimension-specific gameplay.
Improving world navigation and player escape controls.
Building stronger combat systems.
Growing the lore into the actual game world.
Preparing the project for cleaner public builds.
Next Goals
The next phase will focus on making the HoloVerse experience feel more complete inside the game itself.
Planned priorities include:
More stable dimension launching.
Better in-game exit and close controls.
Screenshot support for active gameplay scenes.
Clearer player UI during mode transitions.
Expanded region identity.
More interactive bots and dialogue.
Stronger Urban Warzone gameplay.
Continued cleanup of old prototype routing.
More reliable portable builds for testing.
This is the start of a much bigger connected version of GLITCHED MATRIX Prototype Lab.
The HoloVerse Gateway is online.
