changedWe have designed the Health system to be a bit more dynamic than usual. Attacking and/or utilizing a mobility mechanic will use some of your health. However, landing hits on and killing your enemies will give you back health. This means you will have to manage your health carefully.
addedWe have also added in various Crystals which add a layer of difficulty to the game. Whether it's draining your health or spawning in tougher units, you will want to dispose of these Crystals quickly.
addedNew Enemy Types You will be able to fight against 5 different enemy types:
addedNew Abilities Your Health also serves as a resource to perform various special ablilities. You can perform a Palm Strike if you have enough health, and depending on how much you have the Palm Strike will have different effects. You can also buff your Sword when your health is full which allows you to deal much more damage. Activating any of these abilities will consume the majority of your health though, so use them with caution.
addedController Support & Configurable Controls We have added in full controller support and remapping of buttons. We have also added rebinding for Keyboard & Mouse controls.

The 2.0 Update for Gladio is finally ready to download! In this update we have redesigned the majority of the game based on player feedback and our own.

New Gameplay

  • We have completely redesigned the combat to feel better and overall be a lot more fun. We used to have a directional attack system that, while interesting, was neither reliable nor intuitive. We have replaced this with a Single and Radial system that is based off pressing or holding attack. We find this to be much more fun and definitely more consistent.

  • We have designed the Health system to be a bit more dynamic than usual. Attacking and/or utilizing a mobility mechanic will use some of your health. However, landing hits on and killing your enemies will give you back health. This means you will have to manage your health carefully.

New Enemy Types You will be able to fight against 5 different enemy types:

  • Archer

  • Grunt

  • Legionary

  • Knight

  • Mage

Each of these types of enemies presents a unique threat and will require a unique approach in order to defeat them.

New Abilities Your Health also serves as a resource to perform various special ablilities.
