That’s right, Riku & Kate are well rested and ready to rise into the CALosseum!

Riku & Kate, Finland's greatest Baker and his best friend, business partner, and translator have been served and are ready for you to play! 7 weeks after our Early Access Launch comes our first Content Update, out RIGHT NOW!
Kate is a stickler for a good deal, so she's convinced us to offer a 20% discount for those of you bread-y to grab GladiEATers!!!
What’s included?
Riku's Chef Story is now playable from start to finish, and you can then take Riku & Kate into the CALosseum! Riku comes with 11 cookable GladiEATers. The highlight of his roster is of course Bread, but also Croissants, Pain au Chocolat, and 2 completely fresh GladiEATers: Butter & Buttered Toast!
The Butter and the Buttee
While you may have faced Riku’s other GladiEATers in the CALosseum before, Butter & Buttered Toast have been made fresh for Riku as we felt particularly hungry this morning! (this was actually a process that took weeks)
Butter comes with a new keyword: Buttery, which will double the next hit on the target!
Riku also comes with a new unlock tree and his very own seasoning: Coriander! Which to some people, tastes like soap… so in the CALosseum, it’ll be cleansing debuffs and damage over time effects on both teams every 4 turns!
Ability Revisions
As Riku’s our first Baking Combat Chef, we’re sure you’ll have plenty to sink your teeth into. However, on top of that, we have a bit of kitchen clear up in this update in the form of the following ability changes:

Riku changes:
Pain au Chocolat’s Chocolick buffed from:
-Deal (0.5X), to 2.
-Targets gain 30% Resistance, for 1-Turn.
-1-Turn Cooldown.
To:
-Deal (X), to 2.
-Targets gain 30% Resistance, for 1-Turn.
Pain au Chocolat’s buff feels timely given that the GladiEATer is now playable! This GladiEATer has an interesting role in Riku's team: aiming to slow down the game!
Loga changes:
Guacamole’s Tomato Accretion nerfed from:
-Damage all enemies equal to (x)% of their Max Health.
-Debuff their Resistance 25%.
-1-Turn Cooldown.
To:
-Damage all enemies equal to (x)% of their Max Health.
-Debuff their Resistance 15%.
-1-Turn Cooldown.
The Guacamole nerf to the Resistance debuff was another step in the direction of keeping Guacamole’s power capped but still letting it be the massive payoff we want it to be for following Loga’s Primordial Path!
Eggie changes:
Omelette’s Albumen Assault nerfed from:
-Charge Up.
-Deal (0.5x) to all enemies.
-Delay them.
To:
-Charge Up.
-Deal (0.3x) to all enemies.
-Delay them.
Omelette’s Albumen Armor nerfed from:
-Charge Up.
-Shield allies (x).
-Rally them.
To:
-Charge Up.
-Shield allies (0.5x).
-Rally them.
The Albumen Assault & Armor nerfs for Omelette came about as these abilities felt a bit too strong and ever-present at higher heat levels.
