Girls Overboard is Delayed

Even though this is only our 2nd game release, we really thought we could do it. Despite a major setback that caused us to lose an entire week of development time, we didn't give up but instead pulled some all-nighters (mainly our programmer, Bam. He really pulled through) and WE FINISHED THE GAME!

Then came the Steam review process... Since we did everything on our end to comply with Steam's terms (NSFW Rules), we had hoped we would be approved. We even based the review time on an earlier review and made plans to have time to submit again if needed. This is why we decided to move forward with the original launch timeline. However, the review time by Steam took much longer than previously and we lost all that extra submission time.

It was a gamble waiting for approval until the actual day of launch, but the last thing I wanted to do was write this. As team leader (Din), I take full responsibility for the delay and sincerely apologize. My team has done everything on our end possible to meet today's deadline, but now it is in the hands of the Steam Review team.

We do not have an exact timeframe (hopefully next week!) on getting approved by Steam Review. As soon as we have any new information, I will share it on Discord and here. Please know we are doing everything within our power to get you to Kawaii Island so you can romance those beautiful babes! 💦
