[Beta] Halloween Update - Part 2 - 10/19/2023

addedWe are rolling out the second part of this update, which includes some new features to adjust the gameplay and allow for a greater variety of exorcisms.
addedReminder 2 : the "public test" beta is accessible by going to your Steam library, right-click Ghost Exorcism INC -> Properties, then go to the "Beta" tab, and select "public-test" from the dropdown list. A game update will then begin. This will allow you to test the latest beta update with the new features mentioned in this patchnote.
addedNew Exorcism Step: You may be asked to break a Tiger Eye capsule on the Dread Origin. In addition to the usual effect, a small blue flame will indicate that the Dread Origin was successfully cleansed with the capsule.
addedNew Exorcism Step: You may be asked to break a Salt capsule on the Dread Origin. In addition to the usual effect, a small blue flame will indicate that the Dread Origin was successfully cleansed with the capsule.
addedNew Exorcism Step: You may be asked to break a Holy Water capsule on the Dread Origin. In addition to the usual effect, a small blue flame will indicate that the Dread Origin was successfully cleansed with the capsule.

  • Exorcism Step Modification: An entity can now simultaneously have Writing/Drawing evidence in the Book AND on a Surface (one no longer prevents the other)!

  • (EDIT 10/20/2023) Adjusted the money and experience gain for Multi-Entity contracts to better reward players who take on this challenge.

  • (EDIT 10/20/2023) Added an additional Holy Water / Tiger Eye / Salt capsule to the free equipment rack (depending on the contract type).

  • (EDIT 10/20/2023) Added a "Halloween" decoration theme to the hub !
