changedSo I wondered if there was something similar that wasn't a boardgame with complicated rules and playable on mobile, so we started developing the basic dynamics of the game of the goose in a lowpoly 3D environment. As development progressed, we implemented additional gameplay dynamics similar to Mario Party but simpler and for a target of 3 to 10 years of age.

The name GGWG means "Goose Game without Goose" and the describes exactly what it is: the goose game without the goose.

The goal of the project is to take the classic Game of the Goose that we've all played and propose it in a more modern, less boring way and with strategic elements.

The idea comes from my 3 year old son's passion for the game of the goose and for everything related to swords, knights, castles, etc.

So I wondered if there was something similar that wasn't a boardgame with complicated rules and playable on mobile, so we started developing the basic dynamics of the game of the goose in a lowpoly 3D environment. As development progressed, we implemented additional gameplay dynamics similar to Mario Party but simpler and for a target of 3 to 10 years of age.

The strengths are:

  • a strategic use of 3 different dice (d4, d6, d8)

  • 2 round phases: movement, action

  • a variety of traps and monsters

  • chests with treasures and weapons that modify the result of the dice

  • achievement system, unlockable characters and ester eggs

  • low poly environments with knights, orcs, wizards and a castle of

  • 62 squares like Goose Game

So... roll the dices, your quest awaits!
