Rogue AI Golf Ball Escapes Containment, Takes 19 Levels With It

Getaway Golf, the stealth-action mini-golf game in which players assist a sentient golf ball in evading capture and making it's escape, is available today on Steam.

The ball, designation GG-1, internally referred to by development staff as "the problem" features a fully operational inertial engine and, according to incident reports, "opinions." Over the course of 19 handcrafted levels, it will not be going where it is told.

About the Ball GG-1 became self-aware sometime during development. Attempts to patch this were unsuccessful.
