《GESTALT: The Fifth Day》Another Day DLC Announcement!

Hey y'all!

It's been about half a year now since the release of GESTALT: The Fifth Day, and between all of the YouTube videos, Twitch streams, and online whispers, I really couldn't be happier with it's reception so far. Now, I can finally announce that GESTALT is getting some DLC, aptly called the'Another Day' DLC! This DLC is releasing at the very start of Steam Scream Fest, on October 28, 2024 (less than a month from now) available to download for $3!

This will be the first and last DLC for the game, and I made sure to make it count with a lot of new content. The Another Day DLC will include the following:

  • 3 New scenarios added to Days 2, 3, and 4. These scenarios are titled, "BUTCHER," "GNOMES," and "DUNGEON."

  • A post-game story called "Another Day," which unlocks and takes place after Ending II. This plays similarly to the scenarios in the main game, although it is about twice as long. The story follows Wicke trying to figure out how to appease a creature called the 'Ogre' that has appeared in the house, while also trying to uncover the secrets of the home's mysterious previous owner, Agatha "Old Aggie" MacDonald.

  • 8 New Achievements, plus a completely overhauled achievement system. This is meant to play much nicer with Steam's framework, and prevent achievements from disappearing on Steam. There will also be a new achievement tracker in the Options menu, where you can track your achievements in-game as well!

  • 2 New secret codes.

  • New secrets added throughout the game.

  • Updates and changes to certain gameplay mechanics to make the game more intuitive.

  • And more!

Along with the DLC, the game will also be receiving a major update (Update #3), which will include the new achievement system/tracker, one of the new secret codes, many of the updated mechanics/polishing used in the DLC. There will be more information to come closer to when the DLC and Update #3 both drop, so hang tight and stay tuned. Happy October!
