changedBut before I get into the details, this update will initially only be available by right clicking Gerrymap in your Steam library, pressing "Properties...", and going to the Betas section, and opt into the beta.

But before I get into the details, this update will initially only be available by right clicking Gerrymap in your Steam library, pressing "Properties...", and going to the Betas section, and opt into the beta.

Why? I'd like to use the 250 Gerrymap players to make sure I didn't break anything before rolling out the update. And there should always be a fallback. In the future, you will be able to select 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc.

Anyway the details

  • North Carolina is slightly easier

  • Precincts have outlines when zoomed in

  • 1976-2000 Gubernatorial, Senatorial, and Presidential elections for all states

  • The FINISH MAP popup for checking your progress is now better

  • The color palettes have been changed for all categories. In general dark colors are brighter

  • Volume preferences get saved

  • There is now a button to exit the game (I hope that wasn't the thing keeping people playing...)

  • Other minor UI changes

  • I just remembered I was supposed to make the menu come up when you press ESC. Fuck my life.
