Study Mode just became the heart of GeoFlag.

It is now a living 3D globe you can spin, explore, and learn from. Pick a region and the camera flies in. Tap any country to open its study card: flag, capital, language, currency, a natural wonder, and the neighbors around it. The more you learn, the more your world is revealed. Countries you have not studied sit in shadow, and they clear and brighten as you answer them correctly, until your map is fully lit.

And it comes in two looks you can switch between instantly:

  • Photoreal: a satellite Earth built from NASA imagery, with real terrain and a soft blue atmosphere.

  • Classic: a clean stylized map globe with bold country colors.

Flip between them with one click. The globe holds its exact position, and your choice is remembered next time.

This is the heart of what GeoFlag is becoming: studying geography that feels like exploring, not like a worksheet.

Also in this update:

  • Study cards for every country: capital, language, currency, a natural wonder, and nearby countries.

  • All 33 European countries now have complete study cards.

  • Region focus: choosing a continent flies the camera there and frames it.

  • "Study this region first" on your Map Game results now takes you straight to the globe.

  • You can now rename your explorer in Settings.

Playable right now in the free demo. Steam Next Fest starts June 15, and we will see you there.

Set out, explorer.
