Citizens and Observers

We are opening the first closed playtest of Generations: Utopia an early playable version covering two population generations and the core city management systems.

In the current build, the following core simulation systems are already functional:

  • production and resources

  • citizen parameters

  • workforce health simulation

  • ministries

  • household incidents with manual player intervention

  • building influence system

  • a baseline model of population tension with the risk of riots and stabilization mechanics

The system is still under active development: balance, UI, projects, full minister logic, and parts of intergenerational conflict systems are not yet complete or are temporarily disabled for polishing. Several areas; including trade, banking, loans, taxation, and tourism are also in early development stages.

Testing Objectives

To observe how the system behaves under real gameplay conditions: where players understand what is happening, where control breaks down, and where unexpected scenarios and decisions emerge.

We are not looking for a “perfect game” we are looking for its weak points.

We ask participants to

  • play the alpha build

  • leave a report via the feedback form

  • optionally join the discussion on Discord
