GeneRally 2 changes
This update introduces a new car; supports mid-race joining as spectator; and various fixes for smaller issues and bugs.
Gameplay & Performance
Added a new car: Stocker.
Introduced mid-race joining as spectator. No need to wait for a race to finish before joining, you can now immediately join into an available space and spectate until the start of the next championship.
Added the ability to adjust the points awarded for finishing positions, and fastest lap, in Race Settings.
Small adjustments have been made to fuel consumption to bring player and AI drivers into closer alignment.
Small adjustments to the slipstream effect.
Drift now has a higher top speed.
FIXED: In multiplayer server settings, the "number of players" limitation is no longer off-by-one.
- FIXEDAddressed various "behind-the-scenes" small multiplayer bugs and issues.
FIXED: Engine volumes for Monster and Drift are now more in line with other car volumes.
FIXED: Players should no longer be able to reverse before the start of the race.
- FIXEDAddressed a few memory leaks that could lead to decreased performance over time.
- FIXEDSome cases where the terrain walls would generate incorrectly have been fixed.
User Interface
Updated some localisation strings for Russian.
In server browser, In-Race sessions now show how far through a championship the server is.
Track Editor
FIXED: Tracks created in the Editor can now be immediately used in Multiplayer without a game restart.
Known Issues
Car liveries may be displayed incorrectly, on occasion, to spectators - this will be fixed in a hotfix patch soon.
