Gem Master changes
This is a major update, which saw many aspects of the game reviewed and polished a bit.
Most notably, of course, 25 different arenas were added to the game. They get unlocked as you progress, and offer variety to matches; some requiring quite different strategies. Old good plain empty field is still occasionally added to the mix.
Other changes include:
Quality of Life
Hints for starters that will help new players make their first step;
Match starting animation is now skippable! Just click or press any key;
Game performance was optimised. Not that the game really required it, but it will help battery charge last longer when played on a laptop;
Visuals
Gem brightness was tuned;
Conquered blocks of gems now fuse together into bigger gems!
Fixed a visual glitch where next move selection animation continued to play while in Esc menu;
Audio
Some minor tuning, balance is better, erm, balanced;
A different sound effect when turn results in a large area surrounded and taken over;
Achievements
New achievement: Explorer;
Achievement conditions reworded to be applicable to variable field size: Resounding Victory and So Close;
Some achievements will now indicate progress toward them;
