HELLO!
2 months ago I released Gelli Fields, the game I spent years working on into the world. Since then nearly 450 people have purchased the game. I've gotten a ton of positive feedback on the game but there's one thing that sticks out to me. People want MORE. And I realized here on Steam I haven't truly talked about what's next for Gelli Fields so to celebrate 2 months I thought I'd share what all the game has in store!
Coming Soon to a Field Near You
The soonest thing to arrive to the fields is the Hingewood Heights update. You've read about it and seen glimpses in the research notes I've been posting weekly(kinda.)

New biome: Hingewood Heights A mysterious stranger invites you to to meet them in an overgrown forest where nature and technology merge as one. Use the crafting mechanic to fuse crops with mechanical parts and create retro video game inspired variant crops!
- New Gellis6 New gellis arrive in this update! One really stands out from the rest though!
The Prince Gelli: This gelli is rarely seen in Hingewood Heights. Their name is randomly chosen from those who purchase merch for the Prince Gelli drop!
- Prince Gelli Merch DropIf you didn't know, Gelli Fields has merch! for this update new merch drops with a hoodie and holographic stickers! There is is a limited quantity of 50 stickers and those who purchase can submit a name for the Prince Gelli that will appear in game!
Supporter Pack For those who want to support the project a supporter pack DLC is coming with this update. Includes a golden gelli plushie for all your save files, and a golden shiny supporter icon on the title screen.
- New MusicNew and updated music tracks!
- Tons of QOLThe option to skip the job report, visual notifications to know when you have unlocked something new, and an update biome select menu that shows you what you have left to unlock in the biome without going in it!
- New biomeWandering Woods This BIGGEST part of the update. An entirely new type of biome. There's only one corruption here...but it has the power to heal itself! You'll need to be smart, lucky, and high level on your upgrades if you want to challenge the highest difficulty and get the most rewards!
- New cosmetic typeCursors In the last update I introduced cursor trails. This update not only adds new trails but also adds new cursor designs!
New Quests: A lunal chest has appeared in Rocky Retreat. Can you complete the challenges to open it?
New Upgrades: Tired of going all the way over to the sell box to get some money? Well get the pocket shop upgrade to sell straight from your inventory!
What's Next To Come?
Gelli Fields still has a LONG way to go before I consider it finished. And a few of you have asked why I released it before I considered it finished and why it isn't considered early access. My reasoning for this is because I view each biome in the game as a full experience and with such an open ended and light story I don't really view the game as having a proper start and finish. People have been waiting a loooong time for this game and I thought it would be awesome to release what I had and work on it together with the community. ANYWAYS, let's get on to what you can expect as someone who purchased the game
More biomes to come! (Beach, Desert, Festive, & more!)
New biome types like one that is all about fishing with completely new progression and mechanics!
Stickers! These collectibles you can unlock after completing biomes and come in different designs and holofoil effects.
Inviting gellis to your station!
A ranch where you can hatch and raise your own gellis!
Tons of new upgrades and adding more progression to each biome.
New minigames in and out of biomes!
Tons of new furniture and a revamped furniture system (also your own office building you can design the inside of)
The option to choose whether to side with the shady Clookoo Transportation company or with the gellis to get exclusive missions and rewards for the side you choose!
This game is a labor of love and is largely created by one single person. Sadly the game doesn't make enough money for me to live off of it so progress can only go so fast as I have to work other jobs but I am truly committed to this game and having it become more and more worth it to everyone who plays as time goes on. Thank you for an awesome 2 months!
