GeckoShop 2 changes
The first bigger update for GeckoShop 2 is now playable!
The Island got slightly expanded, and got more stuff to explore:
Harvest Berries from bushes, and Mushrooms from trunks to sell at vendors and make additional money. You can harvest them every 5-10 minutes spent in game. There are plans for the future to give them another purpose rather than only making money.
Also: Loot Chests of different rarities will now appear around the map every now and then, that can be opened for coins and occasionally items.
We have replaced the overworld buildings with more fitting versions, allowing players to enter them, and us devs to get more creative with the interior design.
We will continue to expand the map, and make exploring more fun and rewarding.
Rarities are now determined by how many cosmetics a gecko has. This does not change any breeding behaviour, but makes more sense than choosing a random rarity when a box gets opened.
We've fixed geckos occasionally duplicating inside the shop, and also fixed tank contents transfering from one savefile to another.
The Growbed UI seeds slot had a visual bug, this is now fixed. I've done some graphical improvements too, though I'm still working on it.
There were other small improvements here and there, like selling tanks showing their placement direction with an arrow, better inventory behaviour, and more.
